Tomika W. Greer, PhD

Tomika W. Greer is Associate Professor, Associate Department Chair, and Program Coordinator of HRD at the University of Houston, USA. In her research, she critically examines postsecondary education, job transitions, telework, and work-life integration with a focus on helping women and marginalized groups manage and develop thriving and sustainable careers.

Edward A. Gibbons III, PhD

Edward Gibbons teaches in the School of Leadership and Human Resource Development at Louisiana State University, where he is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice and coordinates the undergraduate program. His courses cover performance analysis, organizational behavior, leadership development, and career development, and his research examines how undergraduate HRD programs are built, how leaders navigate conflict, and how student veterans move from military service into college and civilian careers, a transition he made himself after six years in the Marine Corps. He has presented this work at national and international HRD conferences. Much of his time also goes to coaching undergraduate students through their own research and presentations: he prepares teams for regional SHRM HR case-study competitions, where they have finished first and second, mentors student researchers presenting at international academic conferences, and guides applied consulting projects for HR and leadership organizations across the area. Before he joined the faculty full time, Dr. Gibbons spent more than a decade in consulting and executive leadership, coaching managers at companies including CF Industries, Albemarle, and Genesis Energy. He earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio State, an MBA from Tulane, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Leadership and Human Resource Development from LSU.
