For instructors
An author in your class
If you have adopted the book, one of us will join a class session for about twenty minutes over video: a short conversation about the Self-Leadership Stance, why we wrote the book the way we did, and whatever your students want to ask. There is no charge. Request a visit with the form below.
How it works
Format
Twenty minutes over Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet, inside your regular class session. We open with a few minutes on the Stance, or on a chapter you choose, then take questions. Online and hybrid sections work as well as classrooms.
Who visits
Any of the three of us: Oliver S. Crocco (Louisiana State University), Tomika W. Greer (University of Houston), Edward A. Gibbons III (Louisiana State University). Ask for one of us by name, or leave it to us and we will send whoever fits your date.
Notice
We fit visits around our own teaching, so ask three or four weeks ahead and offer two or three possible dates with your time zone. We say yes whenever the calendar allows, and we will tell you quickly if it does not.
Preparation
None required. If your students have read Chapter 1 and taken the inventory, the conversation goes deeper.
